The first year of study of the current 4-year programme consists of modules in Applied Physiology, Companion Animal Ethology, Handling and Welfare, General and Organ Pathology, General Pharmacology, Introductory Clinical Studies, Toxicology, Veterinary Comparative Anatomy, Applied Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology and Planted Pastures and Fodder Crops.
Now we are in, no doubt about it. The fun and hard work starts here. We are all as excited as can be. Finally we are becoming Veterinarians. During this year we will become trained in the basics to acquire a firm foundation. We have some of the most interesting and challenging subjects awaiting us.
