Boekenhout Res, A First Year’s Experience

Planning for after high school was a scary thought. Firstly I had to make a careful decision when selecting a university. The idea of having to leave my comfort zone and go out into “real world” was little frightening. And indeed, the first day in Res was like being on a different planet. But here at Boekenhout a lot of the perceptions that I had during matric have already started to change. Unforgettable memories have already been made! It was very tough at times, I must confess. Entering a multi-racial environment, socializing with so many different people, leaving behind a high school mentality and entering adulthood. I am fortunate to bring with me a strong believe in God (Eph. 3:17). And I look forward to this year at Boekenhout and as a BCom student – history in the making for me. I love my Res!
