Boekenhout Tops Sport & CulturePosted on 10 October 2010 The annual Prestige Evening (Prize Giving Ceremony) took place on Thursday, 7 October at the Rembrandt Hall. Boekenhout once again was amongst the top achievers in the Sport & Culture External categories. We came second in sport and second in culture external (which includes the big cultural events- Serrie, Serenade and Ienkmelodienk). We also came second with the archive and won the 'plakboek' - both of these were from our new portfolio of Traditions, held by HK Sammy Gqoli. Special thanks to our house parents Prof Bernard Slippers and Dr Jana Slippers and to the 2009/10 House Committee for their input and dedication throughout the year. And thank you to everyone who participated in res this year. |
