Code of Conduct

• We, the residents of TuksVillage, understand that we live in a very diverse residence community where we need to conduct ourselves so as to contribute to a living environment that is beneficial to all the residents of the village.

• We will strive towards preventing any form of racism and foster racial harmony in TuksVillage.

• We will guard against any form of sexism and behave in a respectful and civilised way towards all those we encounter.

• We will not take part in or accept any form of criminal behaviour in TuksVillage and thereby uphold our self-respect and moral integrity.

• We will respect and maintain the place we live in and the property we live on, so as to contribute to a living environment we can be proud of.

• We acknowledge the right of religious freedom and respect the religious beliefs of others.

• We understand that TuksVillage is part of the larger Tuks family and part of the University of Pretoria. We accept that we need to uphold and positively reinforce the rules and regulations of TuksVillage and the University.

• We will use our stay in TuksVillage to become well rounded human beings and socially responsible citizens of our country.
