Welcome To House Hippokrates 

 

 

Situated 500 metres away from medical campus, Hippokrates residence is a mixed senior undergraduate residence. Hippo as it is affectionately known, offers the best of both worlds therefore it is the ideal place for students that are not straight out of high school but are interested in the ever so vibrant life of an undergraduate student living in a residence.

At Hippo you are allowed to turn your room to your home away from home. The range of rooms available varies from double rooms, single rooms with balconies overlooking the braai area and garden, bachelor flats some of which either have balconies or gardens. With such an environment that encourages utmost comfort why wouldn’t one strive for academic excellence?

Limpopo’s tomato growers have to face up to climate change - 20/10/2014

UP conducts validation trial for IDEXX’s new pregnancy test for cows - 17/10/2014
Improved pregnancy rates among cattle mean greater profitability for dairy and beef farmers. IDEXX, an international company dealing with diagnostic products in animal health, recently approached the University of Pretoria with a request to conduct a project to assist in devising reliable, cost-effective methods for diagnosing pregnancy in cattle. This led to the bovine pregnancy test validation trial, which is being conducted in the South African dairy industry.
