Oath of the Republic

As I am standing here I agree with the concept that a promise unmade is better than a promise unkept.

I promise that as part of the Rhino home of all the ressidences of TUKS, my first and last honor will lie with Olienhout; inside, outside of the residence but even when I have moved out.

I promise to help build the name of Olienhout: to help where I can, to support where I cannot provide help, to have respect even if I don’t agree with something.

To conquer the bad with good, and to make the good – better. I pledge to be known inside Olienhout but also to know – not for cheap popularity, but for true friendship.

As nothing is truly bad, but rather made evil by lies, I will not surrender to lies.

Then my House will be my home and my pride, my fellow man will be lifted up rather than broken down, and I will subject myself to those of higher authority – so that God will reign, in House, fellow man and self.
