House Rules

To promote good order and discipline in the hostel, Sonop has its own set of House Rules. These Rules are in line with the broad UP hostel policy, but on the other hand, it makes provision for the uniqueness of Sonop, which has been its characteristic for the past 95 years.

On ground level, the House Committee and the Head of Residence ensure that these Rules are adhered to by the residents. Regular reports to and inputs from the Sonop Council in this regard are done on a continuous basis.
