The Golden Eiffel

As a symbol of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Boekenhout the Eiffel has been painted black.
The Eiffel, the proud symbol of Boekenhout in the central quad, has traditionally been black. It has often also been painted other colors, usually at night (followed sometimes by girls getting showered!), just to be painted black again the next day. Consequently it has accumulated many, many layers of paint over the years. With great effort the HK removed all the old layers of paint, and painted the Eiffel golden as a symbol of our special year.
