The Health House organizes 2 main community project events in the year, these are the:
The CANSA Shavathon 2012 took place on 13 April from 12h00-14h00 on the BMS lawn. It was a huge success and lots of fun! Many went for the spray option but we still had a few brave souls who dared to go bare and shave their heads or cut their ponytails off! Thanks to everyone involved and those who came to support! TUKS Physiotherapy raised R1150 for Jason Roets` hair to be shaved!
 
Disability day took place on 11 May 2012 from 10h00-14h00 on the BMS Lawn. It was a huge success and such a memorable day for all involved. It was about giving back and paying it forward. There was face mask making, face painting, necklace making, ball games and many more. The children had a wonderful time and were smiling from ear to ear.
EACH SUB FACULTY HAD AN AREA ON THE LAWN FOR THEIR EVENTS ON THE DAY!
