House CA is a student society for BCom(Accounting Sciences) students who study at the University of Pretoria (Tuks). House CA forms the link between the students, the firms and other CA stream businesses.

Academics

House CA hosts various academic events throughout the year, such as academic motivational sessions to help students cope with stress and giving students helpful study techniques.

Sport

Your experience at university should not only be purely academic and this is where House CA steps in to help add a sporting dimension to your degree. House CA has soccer, netball and hockey teams that compete in a league against residences and other student societies.

Social

Your degree should have a social component in it and House CA does its part to help. House CA hosts cocktail evenings, a camp and a dinner for BCom(Accounting) students. The major accounting firms are present at these events and students are given a chance to mingle with current chartered accountants, which gives them a better idea of where their lives are headed.

Social Responsibility

House CA encourages students to give back to the community. We have various charity drives during the year that gives the students a chance to help those who are in need.
