The Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) has started the process of re-writing the constitution for the election of Student Representative Council (SRC), who lead all student structures in the University. This is an exciting change, that needs all students to think and contribute to the type of student leaders they want serving them.
Tuks wants to know what you think, what you expect from student leaders, what makes a good student leader, and how you think student leaders should be elected.
The draft constitution is available on CLICKUP, with discussion forums set up for each chapter. These discussion pages are open to all students, and Student Affairs encourages you to participate actively, and give feedback on the proposed constitution.
How to find the constitution: Go to clickup (clickup.up.ac.za) and log in -> Press the "Organisations" Tab on the top -> You will see a link to the "Student Constitution 2013." -> and finally participate.
Read the draft, get involved before the 27th of May 2013. Lets make a better tuks today, for tomorrow.
