The first years in  Asterhof are known as STERRETJIES. As an Aster lady, first years are taught the morals of a "trou vrou". Their roles in Asterhof involves participating in various residence activities such as Ienkmelodink, Rag Procession and Ienk Athletics with great enthusiasm. These ladies are inspired to uphold a vision of an Aster lady and strive for success in everything they do. As the bridge from High School to University narrows, we at Asterhof commit ourselves to surround the ladies with love, good guidance, fun and excitement.

The first year in Asterhof will always be filled with wonderful memories and new lifelong friendships.
