The First Africa Regional Round of the 2012 Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition will take place from 17 to 18 May 2012. The competition is organised by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

Caster Semenya, LJ van Zyl and Oscar Pistorius, who are among the 20 Tuks athletes in the 76-member SA team, have been selected to represent South Africa at the CAA Africa Senior Championships in Porto Novo, Benin, from 27 June to 1 July 2012.
