Closing of the ring road on 7 May

The Ring Road will be partially closed from Thursday 7 May 2009 onwards. A temporary entrance to provide access to the Administration Building will at the same time be opened in Lynnwood Road.

Furosemide, used in the United States and Canada to treat bleeding into the airways in racehorses, decreases the frequency and severity of haemorrhage according to the results of a novel study. The study, conducted by the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Colorado State University, and the University of Melbourne, provides a foundation for racing authorities to make decisions regarding the use of this medication, which is the subject of heated debate and controversy around the world.
