The Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Pretoria (UP) is proud to announce that Karen Naude – a lecturer in Language and Study Skills for the new Four-Year BSc Programme – has recently been trained to use and teach the Buzan principles in South Africa. She is one of only five delegates in the country to undergo the recent Buzan Licensed Instructor (BLI) training held in Johannesburg.

Lavender Foal Syndrome (LFS) or Coat Colour Dilution Lethal (CCDL) is a lethal genetic disorder that affects Arabian horses worldwide. Affected foals can be recognized by their unique lavender coat colour and suffer from severe neurological symptoms. Scientists, internationally, have been studying the genetics of LFS.
