The School of Dentistry has acquired a cone-beam computerised tomography scanner

The University of Pretoria is the first institution in South Africa to acquire a Cone Beam Computerised Tomography - Vatech CBCT. The scanner has recently been introduced in UP's School of Dentistry and will be used for producing diagnostic imaging techniques in medicine and dentistry such as x-rays and ultrasound.
