The University of Pretoria's Vision 20/20 Clinic based at the Pretoria West Hospital, has acquired an Ophthalmic Examination Equipment which will be used to identify eye deficiencies like cataract. The machine is valued at more than R420 000 and was bought with a donation made by the Japanese Embassy.

Educational theatre speaks to young audiences

The Drama department's annual touring educational theatre programmes ran from 14 - 18 March 2011. The programmes are developed under the supervision of prof Mariť-Heleen Coetzee. The programmes are presented in collaboration with the SAPS Villeria, the Tshwane Metro Police and Kilnerpark Security as part of their crime prevention programmes and their drive to encourage responsible citizenship.
