Prof Johann Kirsten, Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development at the University of Pretoria was recently honoured by the Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AEASA) to present the FR Tomlinson Commemorative Lecture for 2010. He also received a commemorative gold medal to celebrate this award.
