Tuks keep on winning - on verge of Ussa semi-finalPosted on 30 June 2009 Tuks ended day two of the Ussa Netball Tournament in Johannesburg on a high note overpowering arch rivals Maties on Tuesday, 30 June. Tuks 48-37 win followed the 115-3 thrashing of WSU Buffalo earlier on the second day. Team manager Jenny van Dyk said Tuks are really playing fantastic netball. “We are on a roll with UJ (University of Johannesburg) the only remaining obstacle between us and a semi-final spot,” added Jenny. Tuks play UJ on Wednesday morning (2 July), for all practical purposes a quarter final. The semi-finals take place on Wednesday afternoon. |
