The Spar Protea Netball team won the third test match 56-49 on Tuesday, 19 June 2012.

After an amazing 3-test series played in Jamaica, the SPAR Protea Netball team beat Jamaica in the third and final test match played on Tuesday night (19 June 2012). The final score was 56-49 to South Africa. Jamaica won the series 2-1.

The first test match played on Friday (15 June 2012) was taken by Jamaica's Sunshine girls, with the final score being 63-48 to Jamaica. “I feel we went out tonight and performed much better against Jamaica than we did last year at the World Champs. That’s a real positive for me.” (Amanda Mynhardt, captain.)

The second test was played on Sunday evening. The game started off strong for South Africa, but ended with a 61-46 win for Jamaica, securing their series win. Jamaican Captain, Nadine Brown, complimented South Africa on their first two quarters, “My team made a shaky start, probably because South Africa surprised us with their brilliant start. At the half break we were forced to make some changes especially in defence...”

South Africa made an amazing come-back in the third test, winning by 7 points.

Well done South Africa!!!
