TuksCricket: Tuks remain in USSA driving seat

Assupol Tuks 1 is still standing firm at the 2011 USSA A Tournament hosted by the University of Pretoria.
Tuks beat Free State University yesterday by 72 runs on Day 2 of the Tournament.
UFS won the toss and elected to field first. Tuks stacked up a respectable 253/7 in their allotted overs with Francois Le Clus top scoring with 118. H Klaassen also got into the runs (50), whilst M Venter shone with the ball for the visitors (3/36).
UFS battled from the start and fell 72 runs short at the end (180/9; K Rafferty 37, G Cloete 33). D Bunn (3/33) and GC Pretorius (2/30) were Tuks' best bowlers.
