TuksSport announced today that Pote Human will take charge of the UP-Tuks 1 Rugby Team for the next three seasons.

He will take office as new Head Coach on 1 November and takes over from Nollis Marais (Varsity Cup) and Riaan Vorster (Carlton Cup, USSA and Predator Series).

Human, the current Currie Cup Head Coach of Kimberley based Griquas will take charge of UP-Tuks in not only the Varsity Cup Competition, but in all other competitions the team takes part in. That includes the Carlton Cup, USSA Tournament and inter-provincial Predator Series.

Fortune changed hands twice in the last four minutes after UJ first took the lead for the very first time with only four minutes to go to full time (29-26).

The enthusiasm of the big and boisterous home crowd did not last long, however, as UP-Tuks struck back in the second-last minute with a spectacular try by left winger Courtnall Skosan that was initiated through brilliant individual play by the hooker and ‘Player that Rocks’, Bongi Mbonambi.
