Four changes to Tuks line-up

Head coach Freddie Grobler has made four changes to the starting line-up for Tuks’ second Varsity Cup match against Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) on Monday, February 9 in Port Elizabeth.

The changes are at left wing (Aaron Denenga for Elwyn Fransman), scrumhalf (Christiaan van den Berg for Ignick Windvogel), flank (Ntokozo Mashele for Gert Lubbe) and hooker (Sylvester Booysen for Kurt Haupt).
The changes at scrumhalf, flanker and hooker did not surprise, even though Tukkies defeated Pukke in the opening match.
Windvogel struggled to get his back-line going, while Mashele’s call-up can be seen as a potential remedy for Tuks’ problems at the breakdowns, where Pukke outplayed them. Tukkies also battled in the scrums.
