Ready as can be for the Australian onslaught: Tuks-Bulls players Chester Mbekela, Frans Parsons and Deon Kraėmer (captain).

History will be made on Saturday, 25 July when the first ever international Rugby League match between two universities on South African soil takes place in Tuks’ LC de Villiers Stadium.

TuksBulls take on current student world champions, Australian Universities. TuksBulls are the top club team in the country after being crowned champions for the 2008/2009 season (winners of the Rhino Cup).

The Aussies are the second overseas team to tour South Africa in the past month. Tuks-Bulls players played for the provincial side that beat the British Army 32-24 earlier in July.

Australian Uinversities are the current student world champions. Most of their player have never player another sport in their lives. They will be formidable opponents, not good news for Tuks-Bulls who will not be at full strength.

Entrance is free and the game starts at 14:00.

• For more details, Hendrik von Wielligh (club manager) can be contacted at 076 085 2003.
