Function for German Athletes

Athletes from Tuks entertained the German athletes that were training at Tuks and staying at the High Performance Centre (hpc) during the past few weeks in preparation of the London Olympics.

They were leaving on Friday to head back home for Germany and in true South African tradition, a "braai" was held to bid them farewell and wish them good luck for the upcoming Olympics.

During their stay, they were also able to attend the Varsity Cup game between Tuks and the Shimlas and there were no doubt who they supported - each taking a Varsity Cup T-shirt back home.

They were unanimous on one thing - they will be back again at Tuks and the hpc to prepare for future championships in the years to come.
