SIFE UP shines at SIFE 2012 National CompetitionBy Student Life/StudentelewePosted on 31 July 2012  The hours spent in preparation for the SIFE 2012 National Competition paid off for the team from the University of Pretoria, who made it into the final round. A total of 27 institutions took part in the competition and the UP team was awarded the third place. The competition was tough, but the SIFE UP representatives were ready to impress. Their presentations were flawless and as they advanced to each new round, their passion and energy accumulated. The team from SIFE UP carried themselves with humility and friendliness, and not only did they give their all during the competition, but they made sure to have fun along the way!
They walked away from the experience more determined and with renewed vigour to once again start working on the projects that they are running in various communities.
With hearts like theirs, combined with their true love for their communities, the SIFE UP team is going nowhere but UP!
Please look out for their second awareness campaign in the Piazza in September, when they will be recruiting new members for 2013. |
