University of Pretoria and Gijima sign sponsorship agreementPosted on 11 March 2011 .jpg) UP's Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Cheryl de la Rey and Gijima?s Chief Technology Officer, Emson Moyo The University of Pretoria's Department of Informatics continued its successful relationship with Gijima Holdings (Pty) Ltd this week with the signing of a renewed sponsorship agreement. According to the agreement – signed by UP’s Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Cheryl de la Rey and Gijima’s Chief Technology Officer, Emson Moyo – this information and communications technology company will provide a sponsorship to supplement the salaries of deserving personnel in the Department of Informatics to make it more market related. A part of the sponsorship will this year again be used to fund the Gijima Chair in Informatics at UP. |
