First World Human Rights Moot Court Competition held at the University of Pretoria on 9 December 2009

World Human Rights Moot Court: The United Nations celebrations of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 this year included the staging of the first World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, organised with the support of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Judge Navi Pillay was the presiding judge at the moot.
