Community-Based Project Module starts with a bang
The Community-Based Project (JCP) of the Faculty Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology (EBIT) started with a bang. There are 1294 students registered for the module. The first compulsory contact session took place in the Aula. A session was hold in Afrikaans and another in English. More than 50 old JCP-students applied to become mentors for 2009.
We are all looking forward to a productive year. During 2008 the JCP-students worked in 492 different projects in 310 different communities. Projects varied from Maths and Science assistance, designing and uploading websites and renovation projects.
