Undergraduate Study Programmes and Degree Courses

At undergraduate level the Department of Biokinetics, Sport and Leisure Sciences offers studies and academic programmes in three degree courses:
 

BA (Human Movement Science)

BSportSci (Sport Science)

BCom (Recreation and Sport Management)

Postgraduate Academic Programmes

Obtaining the BA Human Movement Science (HMS) degree may lead to further studies in Biokinetics, Sport Science and Sport and Recreation Management at the honours, master's and doctoral level. Both the master’s and doctoral degrees are research driven with no course work required.

Obtaining the B (Sportsci) degree could lead to further study at honours, master's and doctoral level in Sport Sciences.  After obtaining the BA(HMS)(Hons) degree with specialisation in Sport Science you can apply for admission to the BA(HMS)(Hons) degree with specialisation in Biokinetics.

Obtaining the BCom (Recreation and Sport Management) provides access to postgraduate studies on the honours level as well as the MBA: Domain Sport Management.
