Marina Malan is the permanent part-time departmental administrator of the Department of Educational Psychology. She also assists and supports the coordinator of the Distance Education (ACE) in the Department. In her capacity as part-time secretary she acts as support to the full-time secretary and to all the lecturers.

She assists with telephonic enquiries, typing, photocopying, planning and organizing of social functions, coordination between the lecturers, updating of the notice boards in the Department on a daily basis and purchasing of stationary. One of her main functions is to assist academic staff with the completion, typing and final editing of the yearly progress forms on research outputs in the Department.
