TuksRowers win gold in Belorus

TuksRowing is over the moon and with good reason.
Two Tuks rowers, both based at the High Performance Centre of the University of Pretoria, rewrote the history books yesterday (Sunday, 25 July) by becoming the firrst South Africans to win a gold medal at the u.23 World Rowing Championships.
The 2010 World Championships concluded in Brest, Belorus yesterday.
John Smith and Lawrence Brittain are now the the u.23 men's pair World Champions.
"We are extatic!" said TuksSport High Performance Manager, Xilia Dreyer in her reaction.
