TuksSwimming and TuksSwim Academy shines at CANA Zone 3&4 in Mozambique

Tuks and TuksSwim Academy swimmers did exceptionally well with many of them breaking national age group and senior records in various events. All in all these swimmers brought home 40+ medals with several of them being awarded the prize for best male or female swimmer in a specific age category. Numerous personal best times were also achieved.

To finish off the 2011/2012 Swimming season, TuksSwimming was represented by numerous swimmers at the CANA Zone 3&4 Regional African swimming championships in Maputo, Mozambique.
During this competition, TuksSwimming had no fewer than 13 swimmers, whom are coached by TuksSwimming coaches. Many of these swimmers also form part of the highly successful TuksSwimming Academy based at the High Performance Centre, who is currently celebrating its 10th year of existence. Over the years the TuksSwimming academy has been one of the prominent sporting codes, producing numerous athletes who have gone on to represent their countries.

· Shakil Fakir (Mozambique – Coach Ball) (TuksSport High School)

· Fabio Centio (Mozambique – Coach Ball) (TuksSport High School)

· Emidio Cuna (Mozambique – Coach Ball)

· Danielle Findlay (Zambia – Coach Ball) (TuksSport High School)

· Ralph Goveia (Zambia – Coach Ball) (TuksSport High School)
