Wian Sullwald and Rudolf Naude were selected for the SA team to race at the 2012 ITU World Triathlon in Stockholm on 25 and 26 August.

The Olympic Games may be a wrap for another four years, but racing action is far from over in the 2012 ITU World Triathlon Series. With just three events left on this year’s circuit, competition continues with the sixth stop in Stockholm this weekend from 25 – 26 August.

South Africans to look out for are Carlyn Fischer and Gillian Sanders in the Elite women’s race and Wian Sullwald in the Elite men’s race.
Carlyn Fischer, Gillian Sanders, Wian Sullwald and Rudolph Naude will also take part in the Elite course mixed relay world championship event on Sunday. The relay teams will consist of four athletes each (two men and two women).
Each athlete will complete a 300m swim, 6km bike and 2km run. After each athlete finishes his or her swim-bike-run segment he or she will tag the next athlete in the relay to make the exchange.

You can follow all the events live at triathlonlive.tv or follow along on Twitter at twitter.com/triathlonlive.
