Marlies Ross, Tuks Sport High learner excelled at SA Nationals

Marlies Ross, grade 9 learner of TSHS took a bronze in the 200m Individual Medley at the SA National Short Course Championships in Pietermaritzburg, which is remarkable if you think that she is still a junior and her competitors included the likes of the 23yr old Kathryn Meaklim, who competed in the London Olympics.
Results:
Jessica Pengelly and Kathryn Meaklim both finished with qualification times in the 200m individual medley, touching the wall in 2:11.61 and 2:12.19 respectively. The bronze medal was won by Marlies Ross in 2:17.94.
