Stakeholder Relationship Management

This unit constantly interacts with stakeholders who include employees, unions, students, state institutions, other tertiary institutions, school principals, ambassadors, community-based organisations, donors and the general public. Each interest group has different expectations as well as perceptions. In our interaction with these stakeholders an attempt is made to give accurate information about the university on a regular basis. The unit comprises Events, Exhibitions and Outreach.

• Events

All corporate events of UP are managed by this unit.

• Exhibitions

The unit identifies relevant exhibitions and encourages relevant faculties or departments to participate in such exhibitions whilst playing a supportive role.

• Outreach

Strategic stakeholders are engaged on a regular basis in order to exchange information that best advances mutual interest.
