Silver for Tuks rower at the u/23 World Champs

The u/23 World Rowing Championship took place in Trakai, Lithuania from 11 to 15 July 2012, where Tuks rower David Hunt and his partner Vince Breedt finished second in the Men's Pair (BM2-) A Final, with a time of 6:46:34.

This is the second year in a row that David has won silver at this event.

Four Tuks rowers were part of the SA Team at the event: David Hunt, Kate Johnstone, James Buchanan and Scott Donaldson.

Kate Johnstone finished 6th in the Women's Lightweight Single Sculls (BLWx) A Final, with a time of 8:33:66, while James Buchanan and Scott Donaldson were placed 15th in the Men's Lightweight Double Sculls (BLM2x) event.
