It might not have been the most attractive rugby to watch, but boy, was it effective and clinical – so much so that UP-Tuks beat UJ 23-8 (18-0 at the break) in the opening round of the 2012 FNB Varsity Cup competition.
TuksTennis star Bianca Swanepoel made the finals of the Rag Queen competition this year.
South Africa’s No.1 quad player, Lucas Sithole, has proved his worth at the Be Active Adelaide Wheelchair Open held in Australia recently when he clinched the quad singles and doubles tournament titles. Following that success, Sithole was runner-up in the ensuing Melbourne Open.
