It will be the battle of the universities as Tuks get drawn in the same group as both Wits University as well as Bidvest Wits FC.
It turned out to be a blessed Monday for the TuksFootball staff after receiving a visit from Mr Thando Masemola and his wife, whom he affectionately refers to as "Mama Sunshine"
The rivalry that exists between the top 4 women's university teams is about to reach boiling point when they take each other on in the Gauteng Sasol League.
Goalkeeper Nthabiseng "Moemish" Matshaba and Central Midfielder Maite "Shuffle" Makola were the football players selected as receipients of bursaries from the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee as part of the operation excellence programme.
AmaTuks beat League Champions Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 on Saturday 18 May 2013 at the Mbombela Stadium, with Thabo Mosadi scoring the only goal of the match.
