17th International Afrilex conference

The Department of African Languages is hosting the 17th International Afrilex (African Association for Lexicography) Conference from 3 – 5 July 2012.
Keynote speakers include Dr Rachel McKee from New Zealand, who specialises in sign language. The conference will be held at the High Performance Centre (hpc) on the Sports Campus and is preceded by a pre-conference workshop on LSP (language for special purposes) lexicography.
