Fine Arts and Information Design Application and Selection

Minimum Requirements for Admission:

University exemption and an APS score of at least 30.
Art as a school subject is NOT a requirement.

Step 1: Application

UP applications for the year 2014 opens 1 March 2013. You can either apply online, or complete the form available for download here. Closing date for UP application is 30 June 2013.

Step 2: Merit selection process

The BA Fine Arts and the BA Information Design degrees in the Department of Visual Arts entail a selection process. You will be required to submit a completed questionnaire and a portfolio by 31 July 2013. See the following documents for more information:

Step 3: Interview and selection test

You will be notified whether you have qualified to continue with the selection process. The final selection interviews and tests take place on 21 - 28 September 2013.
