Facilities

The Department of Chemical Engineering boasts excellent facilities for students, both for their undergraduate and postgraduate training.

The Modelling and Control group has a sophisticated computer-based Process Control laboratory , with a suite of software packages and other engineering tools, (including, Honeywell's "Profit Suite" ) and has good experimental facilities for the postgraduate course on process control.

A microbrewery has been constructed for full-grain brewing.

The Tribology Laboratory has an extensive range of equipment focusing on evaluation of lubricant performance.
