Things I'm proud of

  • I run media tablet workshops to help staff members investigate how to integrate these and other mobile devices into their work.
  •
  • I consult with the Department of Library Services about ebooks, ereaders and media tablets. This includes training librarians in the use of such devices.
  • I've been actively promoting the use of so-called web 2.0. technologies [1] [2].
  •
  • I curriculated a course in publishing in the digitial environment inspired by Dr. Karen de Wet.
  •
  • I curriculated a course in virtual environments, which has a strong focus on virtual reality, virtual worlds and augmented reality. My students make virtual worlds.
