bullet_red.jpg
No eating or drinking is allowed in the CBT Lab. The computers are brand new and represent an investment exceeding R1 million.
bullet_red.jpg
No rowdy or disruptive behaviour will be tolerated. It is every student's right to be able to write a test or exam without interference. Students who exhibit disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave.
bullet_red.jpg
Cellphones are not allowed under any circumstances whatsoever. Examination conditions apply. Cellphones may not be used instead of clocks or calculators - they must be switched off.
bullet_red.jpg
Scrap paper will be provided on request - use the back of the test slips specifically for hand calculations.
bullet_red.jpg
Please fill in your test slip indicating the date and the starting time of the particular session.
bullet_red.jpg
Please push in your chair when you leave the lab - it saves time in preparing the lab for the following session.
bullet_red.jpg
The staff on duty will regulate seating in the CBT Lab. The majority of lecturers have approved this procedure.
bullet_red.jpg
Please raise your hand if you require assistance - we will help you as soon as possible.
bullet_red.jpg
Please bear in mind that the waiting area outside the lab is adjacent to other computer labs which are used daily for lectures. Do not make such a noise as to interfere with any lecture or test.
bullet_red.jpg
Please be on time for your test session. In the event of a student being late with less time available in the session than allowed for the test, the student will not be allowed to write the test or exam.
