Prof Graham Duncan, Head of the Department of Church History and Church Polity was awarded the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) with distinction from the Faculty of Education at the Autumn Graduation Ceremony on 12 April 2011.

New Mamelodi Animal Health Clinic (MAHC) opens its doors to the public

The MAHC project was conceived a few years ago by Prof Gerry Swan, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science together with UP Mamelodi campus director, Mr Edwin Smith. The actual clinic premises were identified during a tour of the Mamelodi campus by Dr Henry Annandale, the Dean, Dr Roy Meintjies and Dr Liesel van der Merwe.
UP CANSA Shavathon 2011 a huge success!

Tuks has gone big this year with five CANSA Shavathons on four campuses, as you all know by now. Staff and students from Groenkloof Campus did their bit on Monday, 11 April 2011 and raised an amount of R 2 750!

Prof Stella Nkomo of the Department of Human Resource Management has been awarded the NRF B1 rating. This is a tremendous achievement of which the Faculty is extremely proud.
CC&M wins silver at 15th PRISA PRISM Awards

The University of Pretoria was the proud recipient of a SILVER AWARD for their UP SPRING DAY CAMPAIGN in the category: Internal Communications at the PRISA PRISM Awards Ceremony in Cape Town. This was the highest accolade awarded in the category with Absa Bank and Liberty Group each receiving a bronze. Other entries in this category came from the City of Cape Town and Media24.
