Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences hosted top Grade 9 learners at a Faculty Day

On Friday 30 July 2010, the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Pretoria hosted a Faculty Day for selected Grade 9 learners from leading Pretoria schools. This event was a spontaneous introduction to the National Science Week 2-6 August 2010.
With just over a week to go to the inaugural youth Olympics in Singapore, the Namibian national team met up in Windhoek, Namibia, where the team spent time training, in press conferences and a courtesy call to the State House where they met with the President of Namibia.
University of Pretoria Wins Anafe Bid

The Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Pretoria has been selected as the Southern Africa region's Focal Institution for ANAFE (African Network for Agriculture, Agroforestry and Natural Resources Education). The University competed with other regional Universities in a process which started in November 2009.
