A good haul for TuksSwimming in Rome so far

TuksSwimming is well represented at the 13th FINA World Aquatic Championships in Rome with a 11 swimmer contingent representing their various countries. This excludes the numerous other swimmers that made TuksSwimming and the HPC their home for a period of time in preparation for these championships.
Steyn makes it a triple

High Performance Centre Physiotherapist Andrea Steyn added a third major title to her repertoire on Saterday 18 July when she ran away with the SA Duathlon title, despite a niggling calf strain, to add to the SA Triathlon title and African Triathlon title she won in March and July respectively.
UP Drama Department, is producing the play "I Am A Camera" by John van Druten, on which the musical Cabaret was based. The production features Christopher Isherwood’s Berlin Diary of the 1930’s, and although not a musical, the action will be interspersed with music from that era.
Tuks and hpc well represented at World Swimming Champs

The World Swimming Championships started in Rome on Saturday 18 July, and as expected Tuks and the hpc are well represented in the South African Team with Roland Schoeman heading up that list. Included are also up and coming youngsters Darren Murray, Thabang Moeketsane and William Diering.

2009 has been remarkable in the way that three TuksCanoe athletes have dominated almost every aspect of flat water racing in South Africa, as well as effectively representing the core of Canoeing South Africa's international achievements thus far this year.
