South Africa Fairs Well At the Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup

Today, (26 April) the ITF Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup - the most prestigious tennis event ever staged in this country - served up some great tennis from the South African Men's team. The team is entered into the Mens' Group II where the men seem adamant to perform well on day two.

Wheelchair Tennis South Africa (WTSA) and its presenting sponsor Airports Company South Africa, alongside the Department of Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA), and City of Tshwane today (Wednesday, 16 March 2011) announced the team that will represent South Africa in the ITF World Team Cup.

On 18 April 2011 Dr. Anne Skelton, Director of the Centre for Child Law in the University of Pretoria Faculty of Law, presented the outcome of a UN expert meeting in Vienna tasked with commenting on a draft 'Model Law on Juvenile Justice'. The presentation was complemented by comments from Ms Iyabo Ogunniran and Ms Violet Odala, who shared their experience with the juvenile justice systems in Nigeria and Malawi, respectively.
