On Day 2 of the CAA African Athletics Championships held in Benin, Elizna Naude won the second silver medal for TuksAthletics in the discus for women with a distance of 55,88 m.
Orazio wins first medal for Tuks

Shot-putter Orazio Cremona’s second-round put of 19,19 m earned him a silver medal on Day 1 of the CAA African Championships that was held in Benin. It was an improvement on his performance in 2010, when he received a bronze medal. It was the first medal for Tuks at this event.

Dr Lindelani Mnguni, a lecturer in Science Education, was listed as one of the top 200 Young South Africans for 2012 that were announced at a function held in Johannesburg on 21June 2012.
