UP professor appointed to technical management board of the International Institute of Welding

At the 62nd Annual Assembly of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) held in Singapore on 12 to 17 July 2009, Prof Madeleine du Toit of the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Pretoria was appointed as member of the Technical Management Board (TMB) of the IIW.
